Biography
Camilo Mendez Schneider is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at the samlab, where he works on developing an AI-based hypoglycemia detection system using radar signals and wearable data from the Moonwalk Study. He previously worked as a scientific collaborator at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. Camilo holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bern and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Artificial Intelligence. He brings additional expertise from his background in mechanical engineering and industrial design.
