The samlab participated in SPIE Photonics West 2026 in San Francisco with two scientific contributions:“Liquid Crystal-based Interferometric Detection of Optical Activity for Glucose Sensing” and “Radar and Wearable-based Monitoring of Nocturnal Hypoglycemia”. The conference provided an excellent platform for scientific exchange at the interface of photonics, sensing technologies, and biomedical engineering, and for presenting our work on optical glucose sensing and contactless monitoring approaches for diabetes care.
